This website is dedicated to the preservation of the Jomar and Early TVR Series of cars constructed by Raymonds Saidel, Lou Turner, Norman Leeds, and Al Mere. The Jomars were constructed in the mid-late 1950s in the upper floor of the Merrimack Street Garage. The Jomars took SCCA by storm during these years, and their success on the race track quickly prompted Ray Saidel to enter into an aggreement with a small firm in the UK called TVR, to build sports cars for street use with the Jomar Badge as advertising. As awareness and sales grew, so did TVR who continued to sell these cars domestically once Raymond withdrew from the project in 1959. The influence of the early Jomars and TVRs continued well into the late 1960s.
